To the glory of God, Salvation of Christ Mission Assembly Worldwide (SCMA) held a special Thanksgiving Service to commemorate the successful hosting of the Harvest Thanksgiving celebrations across all our parishes. It was a joyful and deeply spiritual gathering marked by gratitude, worship, the Word, and prayers lifted unto the God who gives increase.
The service opened with a powerful choir ministration, setting a reverent and joyful atmosphere as the congregation was ushered into thanksgiving and praise. Hearts were stirred to acknowledge God’s goodness, faithfulness, and provision over the ministry and every parish throughout the harvest season.
The highlight of the service was the ministration of the Word by the President of SCMA, who preached a timely and soul-searching message titled “THE GOD OF HARVEST.” In his exhortation, he reminded the congregation that beyond material harvests, God desires a spiritual harvest. He solemnly admonished everyone on the need to be God’s harvest on the day of judgment, living lives that glorify God and reflect Christ in righteousness, obedience, and faithfulness.
Following the sermon, a series of fervent prayers were raised, for individuals and families, for the church and its leadership, and for the nations of the world. It was a moment of intercession, commitment, and surrender, as the church collectively sought God’s mercy, direction, and continued move in this generation.
In a beautiful expression of gratitude, parishes came before the Lord one after the other with their offerings, appreciating God for His goodness, provision, growth, and preservation over each parish. This act of thanksgiving further emphasized unity, faith, and acknowledgment of God as the source of all increase.
The atmosphere of joy and worship reached another peak as the Levite Choir returned to lead the congregation in the powerful “Hallelujah Chorus,” filling the sanctuary with resounding praise and celebration unto God.
Another remarkable and heart-stirring moment of the service, aside from the impactful sermon, was the announcement of the MORE THAN CONQUEROR INTERDENOMINATIONAL PRAYER, scheduled to commence on 6th January, 2026. The announcement was received with great excitement and expectation, as the church looked forward to a new season of prayer, victory, and divine encounters.
The Thanksgiving Service stood as a fitting conclusion to the harvest season, a moment of reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to God. Indeed, SCMA gives all glory to God for a successful harvest across all parishes and looks ahead with faith, declaring that the God of Harvest will continue to bring increase, fruitfulness, and eternal harvest in Jesus’ name.
